From the artist: "This simply reminded me of the texture I felt on the bottom of my feet, when I was a kid walking in the water at Coney Island Beach. WALKING ON WATER is usually thought to be connected to something holy and perfect. For Surfergirl Gallery I wanted to translate something beautiful, but real imperfect".
